My Travel Story

Hello out there, I have been selected as an English Teacher at a Kindergarten school in Gran Canaria Island, Spain, and the only obstacle to this dream of mine to volunteer sometime in my life time is being threatened by financial constraints. I love teaching, and it will be a great pleasure to be able to share my knowledge, discipline and captivating stories to their wonderful pupils.
I currently work a part time job as a medical supplier, and my salary is just a meagre 430 euros monthly. After I passed the placement interview and was awarded the teaching contract, I felt a sigh of relieve, as it was a great leap towards the educational trip. But it brings great sorrow to my heart whenever I think about how to get the money for Medical insurance, tickets and accommodation for the twelve months of the program. This is because it is an unpaid internship, but it means the world to me, in terms of cultural experience, resume enhancement and life time networks from parents and school authorities.
