... then to repair broken man" Frederick Douglass. There is truth in that statement. I strongly believe that as parents we must teach our children to believe in God, and that hard work has its compensations. I have never met a person so determine and dedicated than Joaida. She has worked hard to achieve and maintain the highest grades. Currently, she is enrolled in the Collegiate High School program at Polk State College and she just finishes her first 12 credit semester with all A's. I am so proud, her goal is to become a Neurosurgeon. I am not saying all of this to boast but to go to my point. Joaida has the opportunity to travel abroad with a group of students to experience and research about the field that she has set her mind. The travel expenses run on the student. She has completed some applications to start working and earning some of the travel money as well as the money that we are setting aside. But, the deadline approaches rapidly and we are afraid we won't have the rest of the money on time. We have set a high goal of $3,000.00 and are hopeful you will help raise as much as we can. Thank you for your time, and thank you in advance for any donation that you may contribute to help Joaida in her quest! Bless you!
