My Travel Story

My husband and I have been trying to go on this overlanding expedition since 2020 in memory of my late Father-in-law. He always wanted to travel with his grandchildren and show them where he worked as soldier in the army and why he had such a love for nature and culture. So when we embark on this journey, we don't only want to teach ourselves and our children, but we want to make a documentary on Youtube etc to showcase where we are travelling, who we meet, what we are experiencing and teach others in our unique way what the do's and dont's is. We would like to start a fundraising of our own and with that money help people we meet along the way by starting a small business or buy clothes or nessecities for unfortunate people. The reason we are absolutely passionate about this, is not only in memory of my late father-in-law, for our kids' education but also for the fact that my husband haven't had the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors as he truely loves, in the past 15 years. Never had a break or vacation in this past years, working hard but not having the funds for something like this. The destinations we would love to visit is simple, rich in culture, loaded with wildlife and overlanding features and then it's all the places my father-in-law were stationed as soldier and told us the most amazing stories about it and what he has experienced there. As mentioned above, this would not only be the break from our usual boring and stressful lives that we so desperately need, but would be packed with experiences, loads of travelling, meeting new people, learning experiences and honoring a final wish of a stand-out legacy in our family. So this would mean more than anything to us if made possible.
