My Travel Story

I am travelling to educate,inform, engage and advocate for the less fortunate in the community. This will help me achieve my journalistic goals of empowering the society by impacting change at the grassroot level. Am always hartbroken to see children lacking basic needs like food and clean water. This leads to mulnutrition, disease outbreake and even dropping out of school. 

I believe in being a brother's keeper as the good book says. Am kindly requesting you to Join me in this Two months voluntary mission through a donation to enable me travel and reach those who needs us the most. 
Being that North Eastern Kenya is the most affected by diverse effects of climate change, i thought it is important to give it a priority this time..

Am a passionate journalist and ready to face this mission with determination because am not choosing the easy way out. This is also the best time to engage women and also advocate for gender equality and climate-change actions , through gender action planning and inclusivity.

    Am heading to Moyale ... Help me get there
    Drought in North Eastern Kenya has left many dying of hunger, lack of water, disease outbreak and pupils are dropping out of school. All these are effects of climate change.

    We don't have to lose hope. Help me in this mission where i will be volunteering for two months to teach the community on the adaptation measures, promotion of gender equality and women involvement towards clean cooking energy transition.

    I will also visit children homes, empower them, help them with materials to read and write, food and mosquito nets.
    But i can't do this alone. That is why am kindly requesting you to join me in this mission. Any amount donated will be highly appreciated. Thank you.
