My Travel Story

Look at that dreamboat would you! This guy is turning 30 in March (2017)! While asking Tom what he wanted to do to celebrate, I admit I was surprised when he answered: "I want to go to Thailand". I'm sure like me, you all are thinking why? Is it his recent interest in yoga- no that would be from India. Is it his love of scooters? Possibly. BUT in true Tommy Viilo fashion the response to why was: "I can't put my finger on it, I just want to go!" (i.e. chickens in our backyard).

So here we are taking the bait yet again and feeding Tom's "Don't tell me what to do (or what I can't do) motto". This adventure will of course take place on Tom's actually birthday, as we plan to head to Thailand for 10-11 days at the being of their hottest season- yay!

The itinerary consists of a few nights in Bangkok- avoiding potential face tatoos, visiting temples, eating street food, and shopping at floating markers. A few nights in Khao Yai National Park- hanging with elephants and monkeys. And a few on one of the beach islands, straight chillin (don't worry, this is further north than "The Beach" film location). Rumor has it Will Viilo may also be joining us...open invitation y'all!

This page was built to help you all feel part of the journey and send Tom off into his 30s in style! Please feel free to contribute what you can- or just get him a gift, old school style. If you do end up donating to this page though, be sure that you'll receive your own signed photo of Tom with some awesome Thailandia backdrop!

Shout out to Julia Schultz, Sam Sturgis and the Castelli parents for your generosity so early on! All three of you have visited Atlanta and we can't wait for future hangouts! (Maybe Thailand- eh?)

Tom thanks you (and so do I!)
