My Travel Story

Hi! My name is Jacob Janosko, I am a mechanical engineering student at North Carolina State University. One of my dreams since I was a child was to go study abroad, particularly to Germany, considering the extensive cultual history my family has there and stories friends that have visited there have told me. I have never left the country and feel that while I am young, I should capitalize on every opportunity I have to try and explore the world.

Fortunately, I have been chosen to study abroad at Reutlingen School of Business for a Maymester, which will help me to achieve my business administration minor! We are scheduled to learn management, accounting, and finance, as well as visit German cities and tour engineering companies like Mercedes Benz. The schedule allows me to have lots of free time to explore and experience the country and the surrounding countries as well!

However, as excited as I am to go, I don't have nearly enough money to fund my trip cost, even though I am working extra at my manufacturing job. I feel in my heart that this trip is something that I have to do, and I am confident this trip will help me to grow as an engineer and a man. I would be incredibly thankful for help funding this trip!
