Hello everyone,

I am Loïc and I am here to share my story and my determination. My dream is to embark on an extraordinary adventure in Japan through a Working Holiday Visa (WHV). Despite the challenges of sickle cell disease, I refuse to be defined by it or let it hinder my aspirations.

This smiling image taken in a hospital bed symbolizes my determination to turn adversity into adventure. I have spent numerous moments in the hospital, but I have chosen not to let illness dictate my life. On the contrary, it has given me the strength to seek opportunities for escape and discovery.

My goal with this crowdfunding campaign is to make my WHV dream in Japan a reality. This journey means much more than a simple getaway; it's a chance to break free from the constraints of illness and truly experience life.

My journey as a student and aspiring web developer hasn't been easy, but each challenge has fortified my resolve. I am set to take my web development exam in December 2023, embarking on a path that fuels my passion. Japan, with its rich culture and innovative spirit, will serve as an inspiration for my future.

Through this campaign, I hope to raise the funds necessary to finance my trip, language and culture courses, and on-site expenses. Every contribution, no matter the amount, brings me closer to fulfilling this significant project.

In gratitude to my generous contributors, I offer special rewards that reflect my talents as a pianist, artist, and aspiring web developer. I want to share my adventure with you, as together, we create lasting memories.
