My future is calling… Will you help me respond?

Dear Friends and Family,
I have been accepted into an extraordinary curatorial program, offered through the Center for Curatorial Excellence at Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (Zeitz MOCAA) in Cape Town, South Africa beginning in August. During my time at Zeitz MOCAA I will be working alongside expert curators and museum professionals inside “one of the most influential art institutions in the world.” According to CNN: 


This position is also in alignment with my research interests focusing on art from Africa and its diaspora. Therefore, living and working in a location that I've studied deeply will no doubt enhance my curatorial skills tremendously and will put me in a position to further my research and ultimatly reach my career goals.

Even though I have been working hard to secure the necessary expenses to fund my travel to Cape Town, I am shy the amount needed to cover my round trip airfare and travel expenses. That is why I am reaching out to YOU, my mentors, friends, and family members for donations.
