My Travel Story
I’m reaching out to share a personal and heartfelt wish. My father is turning 50, and I’ve always dreamed of giving him something special. Unfortunately, I’ve never been able to give him any gifts or bring real joy into his life. Recently, I lost my job as a video editor on January 19th, 2025, and while I’m currently navigating through some tough times, I still want to make this birthday unforgettable for him.
Growing up, my father always used to tell my mom and me that one day, “Chotu” (that’s me) would fly us in the air. He always dreamt of flying, but we’ve never had the chance to do so. My plan is to surprise him with a trip to any beautiful destination in India, something I know he would cherish. I also want to buy flight tickets for both my mom and dad—their very first flight ever.
This will be the most meaningful gift I can give them, especially as we’ve had very few pictures together. I want to make new memories, capture beautiful moments with my parents, and fulfill a dream my dad has had for years.
