On the nite of June 22 2022 my life as I knew it changed forever! The one who made me a mommy was murdered! Taken from me in an instant! Lauren Ashley Thompson was her name! She was 26! She had just came home after being away for 4 months in a Sober Living recovering from Addiction! She had suffered thru it for 5 years and fought so hard and had come so far! Had been clean 4 months the longest ever! Not even 24 hours being home a selfish greedy drug dealer got to her and didn't care she was doing good had a good job at the hospital in Athens he decided he was gonna end that and he did!! She left that day said she would be back after she ate! So when she came home she walked by me sitting on the couch and went to her room!! I heard her later coughing several times then it was quite I don't know but I started feeling sick to my stomach as I sit there watching tv and it kept getting worse! Then it was like something just hit me to go check on her and I did that's when I found her and screamed so loud and started CPR but realized real quick that she was gone by the way she looked! After that is a blur I broke down!! That whole nite was traumatizing ! We later find out she died from an ACUTE FENTANYL OVERDOSE!! She was given pure fentanyl on purpose nothing else in her system! Ashley didn't have a chance! He took the most beautiful selfless strong loving caring sweet out going and kind Angel GOD could have blessed me with! She loved everybody and everyone loved her! Her personality was the best! Ashley loved the beach it was her home away from home! She said that's where her heart and soul feels the most at peace! Ashley struggled with Mental Health as well so this was her therapy! I just want to take her to where she felt at peace! Panama City Beach Fl! I'm asking for donations because I'm on disability on a fixed income and can't afford to travel and stay somewhere! I would be going with my Son and grandchildren to do this spreading of her ashes and stay to honor her memory!! This would mean so much to me!! Thank you so much!  Also "Justice for Ashley Thompson" we will never give up the fight for a conviction!!
