Maya is much more than a dog; she is part of our family. We rescued her seven years ago from the streets (she’s now 10), giving her the love and home she always deserved. Throughout her life, she has shown she is a fighter: five years ago, she overcame skin cancer, and since then, every day with her has been a gift.

Due to life’s circumstances, we had to move to Malta, leaving Maya in Colombia under the care of a nephew who, with great heart, took pity on our story. However, every day without her weighs heavily on our souls. Now we want to bring her home, but the costs of the trip, paperwork, and requirements are high, and we don’t have enough resources to do it alone.

That’s why we are reaching out to you. Any donation, no matter how small, will bring us one step closer to our dream: to embrace Maya again and give her the love and care she deserves in this stage of her life.
