Hello, my name is Citlallic. I am a graduate of the University of Northwestern - St. Paul in Minnesota. I graduated with a BS, as a double-major in Biology and Biblical Studies. I aspire to become a Physician Associate with a focus on helping underserved communities. I have worked in healthcare for over 5 years, and I continuously learn how to become a better care professional every day. I currently work as a direct care professional for ACR Homes and as a Medical Scribe for HCMC CSC Cancer Center. I am someone who is very passionate about helping others, especially those who lack resources. I am honored to be given the opportunity to travel to Guatemala for 2 weeks for a Medical Project. While being in Guatemala, I will be able to work alongside Physicians, nurses, and all other medical staff to help in a small clinic in Antigua. Traveling to Guatemala will give me the opportunity to see and understand how another country provides medical care, immerse myself in new culture, and make an impact within the underserved community, all while I explore a new vibrant place. Going to Guatemala would also allow me to advance in my career as a future PA. I am excited about this new adventure/opportunity during my gap-year. I would be very grateful if you would help me financially, as these programs can be pricey. Please feel free to contact me with any additional information you would like on my new adventure!!
