Hey everyone! I am Carol and I am from Venezuela. Ever since I was a little girl living in poverty, I had big dreams of making great things and going to college. I earn an Incredible scholarship from the Marangoni Institute and Vogue talents to go study fashion in Paris, I participate in the contest Toward a Sustainable Future and won a half scholarship. I submit my Fashion Project about a sustainable and social-based Circular Fashion Brand with a quadruple impact on the orange economy. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I want to make the best out of it, but to go to school, I need to pay the enrollment fee for December 11th, I found myself in a race against the clock.

I have been waiting my whole life for an opportunity that helps me make my dreams come true. And that helps me grow as a human been to give my best to the world, and build a positive impact in my country, an opportunity that helps me go to college, because a don't have access to education in my country, and I don't have the income to pay tuition. 

I am a dreamer and I strongly believe that with my talent I can help a lot of people and make a positive difference in the world. When growing up I was very passionate about art and clothes, although I didn't have much of it. I was fascinated by Fashion and how influential it was for the world. Later, while discovering my talent, I understood how important it is for society and how it can impact our environment. At that particular time, I realize that one of the things I have always wanted to do of helping or changing people's lives could do it through my talent and my passion which is Fashion. So I want to be a Fashion Designer and disrupt the Fashion Industry, and to do so I need to go to school first.
It breaks my heart to tell you that, the Covid has let my family broke. My father who is a cruise ship drummer was trapped for seven months in a cruise ship without receiving any payment, we are now living with the little money we have left to eat.

From the bottom of my heart, I am asking you to help me not only to make my dreams come true but to help me study so I can bring my project to life and have the positive I want to make inside the Fashion industry and inside my country. I will be eternally, and deeply thankful for helping me to be part of this unique opportunity.
