My Travel Story

UPDATE/FUNDRAISING COMPLETED: Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all the donations. We reached the Goal and we have more than enough to ensure that the kids will be happy for a long long time. I will go over to the next phase and buy all the stuff that's needed for the kids and the daycare. Thank you again for your support!

No matter what social class, living situation, nation or family we come from: Each of us faces challenges from time to time. These challenges are very individual and vary in depth. Nevertheless: Many of us know for example the sentence 'eat your food, the children in Africa have nothing to eat' from childhood. For children this is not fully tangible. all the more we adults with the current food waste statistics should rather take this to heart ourselves. Furthermore, we like to take the right to say that our problems are not comparable with those in other countries, because we are simply exposed to other problems that take place at a higher level. Yes, our challenges are not easy either, we also have to go through difficult times and no, we cannot compare the challenges. But it's not about all that - it's about being grateful not to have to grow up in a slum where you are exposed to sexual assault, gang rivalry, drug problems and hunger as a child. It's about being grateful not to have to live our lives without prospects, dreams and opportunities. Bringing ourselves back down to earth is good for all of us and makes us appreciate again what we really have. So lets be thankful for the freedom and opportunities that we have to make a positive difference in the world.

I would like to help these children not only with my efforts, but also with resources that make a huge contribution to the children. The money I collect will only be used in connection with the children of my Sunrise Daycare in the township in Capricorn. I would like to realize the following ideas:

- new cutlery and necessary tableware
- Writing and coloring books for the children
- clothes
- play utensils
- Christmas dinner at McDonalds with the children
- hygiene products
- etc.

Any remaining amounts will be donated directly to Daycare for further improvements to the infrastructure. Even a small contribution makes a big difference in South Africa and helps to help these children in the long term.

I can also recommend a direct commitment in Cape Town to everyone, no matter what life situation. For further information please visit https://www.instagram.com/outreach2enrich/?hl=en
