My Travel Story

Hello! My name is Thikra Daoud and I am a sophomore in college pursuing my degree in advertising management with a minor in entrepreneurship! My dream has always been to travel the world. I always had a fear my time would run out before being able to enjoy the beauty of the world. This is one of the main reasons why I want to study abroad!

I would love to study abroad with the program called Semester at Sea! it is a study abroad program on a ship where students from all around the world have the world as their campus for 4 months! I would travel to 10 countries while also taking classes and exploring different cultures! The program is very expensive, over $30,000! I plan on participating in this program fall of 2020! I am applying to all different study abroad scholarships and trying to reach that goal! I don't come from a wealthy family so anything will help! I also work part time while in college to save up for this program !:) thank you for taking the time to read this!
