My Travel Story

I will be going on a medical mission trip for 1 week to Costa Rica in January 2024 with my fellow PA students and professors. We will be working at volunteer medical care giving sites in underserved areas of San Jose Costa Rica to provide free health check ups, vaccines, medications, and dental care to the indiviudals in the community. This mission trip will enhance my physican assistant education and be a great opportunity to give back to underserved hispanic communites, build my experience in the field while working with spanish speaking patients, give me the experience of working in community medicine prior to starting my clinical rotations in January. If possible please consider donating to help fundraise my trip and flight costs. I am in PA school and not able to work while in school due to the intensive course workload.
