Urgent Call for Help: Blood and Beyond – A Life-Saving Fundraising Campaign 

Dear Friends, Supporters, and Fellow Advocates for Life,
 
Today, I reach out to you not just with a request—but with a mission. Our hospital is currently facing a Code Red Blood Supply Crisis. Blood is the very lifeline of our patients, yet our shelves are alarmingly bare. And the truth is, it’s not just about having willing donors anymore—it’s about keeping the system running behind the scenes: transporting the blood, testing it, storing it safely, and ensuring we have the staff and resources to do all of this efficiently.
 
We are in a critical situation, and we need your help.
 
As a medical laboratory technician working at the frontlines, I see firsthand the consequences of this shortage. Patients with cancer, victims of accidents, mothers giving birth, and those undergoing life-saving surgeries are at risk. But the challenge doesn’t stop with low blood supply—we’re also struggling financially to support the very operations that keep this essential service going.
 
That’s why I am launching a special fundraising campaign—not just to collect blood, but to raise the funds we urgently need to:
 
Maintain proper blood storage facilities
 
Provide transportation for blood units to and from rural areas and mobile drives
 
Support our dedicated medical and lab staff who work tirelessly, often unpaid overtime
 
Organize community blood drives and donor education programs
 
Every peso, dollar, or coin you give makes a real difference.
