My Travel Story

Dear Friends and Family,

We are reaching out with heartfelt hopes and a little bit of vulnerability. As many of you know, we have been on a challenging and emotional journey toward continuing our family, and we need your support now more than ever.

Our Story:

In March, we made our first attempt at IVF, which, unfortunately, was unsuccessful. This experience was not only emotionally taxing but also a significant financial burden, costing us $15,000. Despite the setback, we are determined to try again. In light of this, Colin jokingly suggested that if we’re going to go through this again, we might as well make it a honeymoon too!

Why Prague?

We have decided to travel to Prague for our next IVF attempt in August. The city offers top-notch medical care and a more affordable option for IVF, along with the chance to experience a romantic getaway that we otherwise couldn’t afford. (With Harrison and our niece in tow). 

Our Wedding:

First, we have some happy news! We’re getting married on July 6, 2024. It will be a small, intimate ceremony because, due to my stroke, large crowds are overwhelming for me. This is why many of you didn’t receive an invitation. We hope you understand and will be with us in spirit on our special day. Hey after 15 years, I finally am getting hitched!!

Our Journey So Far

After my stroke with Harrison, I made the difficult decision to have my tubes tied as I had lost numerous times before. I wanted to concentrate on my healing. The medical journey has been long and arduos, but I was finally declared AVM-free in November. This has given us renewed hope and courage to pursue our dream of having another child.
