Hi! Good day!

I am Shiela Mae Landicho and I am from the Philippines. I am 16 years old and a grade 11 student.

Yup, 16 years old. You are probably reading this, confused on why a 16 year old Filipina need a $150,000. Actually, in just a year and a half, I am going to South Korea for my college. $150,000 is enough for four years studying Hospitality and Tourism Management and living there.

After the volcanic eruption that happened last January and this pandemic we are all in a tight spot. But because of my dream I kept to be hopeful and prayed that this will soon be over. I am not from a wealthy family and my dream is a big obstacle for me to make my family live the way they deserve.

I know that we are all having a hard time to this new normal that we are experiencing right now but I won't waste any time that I can use to reach my goals. Ever since I was a little girl I always dreamed of being a student in South Korea. In all countries in the world why did I pick South Korea? Because I saw a scholarship opening seven months back and I was fascinated by their education system.

To the point that I always do better at school and strive harder so I can study abroad but I realize that it's not enough. Now that I am a senior high school student, I would study more so I will have grades ad marks to be proud of when I get there. I have two more years before I take that one step to reach my dreams.

I am a scholar, studying at Sapphire International Aviation Academy. Being a scholar I have discount on my school fees.

And maybe someday when I took that one step I would want to thank all of you who helped me, showed your support, and gave me donations. Being an older sister of three girls, I would strive more, and save more. In the meantime I will just continue on studying and save everything of my allowances so when this fundraising ends I would sum it all up.

I also need some money for the extra expenses going to South Korea since it is my first time flying and I need my mom with me, and we planned that she will stay with me for a week.

That's why I need $150,000. Start a new chapter of my life, independently. And after graduating, maybe migrate there with my family and give them a life that they deserve.

Thank you for your appreciation and support and for giving your time reading this.

Ps.: maybe keep in touch with me so when I am successful enough, I would visit you all to say my gratitude for helping me reach my dreams.
