I know this sounds cliche, but this has been a life long dream for me to study abroad. I actually wanted to study abroad while I was in high school, but my parents didn't allow it.I have always loved travel and I think this would be the best time do do it! I know once I get a full time job, I will not be able to travel freely. Plus, this is going towards my education. By going abroad this is a great opprotunity to learn new cultures and langauges, which will help tremednously in my future career. I am a chemistry student and would like to work in either the cosmetic field or forensics. Both careers can benefit from what I will learn while abroad. While I am abroad in South Korea I plan on joining the Seoulmates group on campus, which is language exchange! I help South Korean students with English and they will help me learn Korean! I chose South Korea as my study abroad destination because I have been there before! I was only there for about a week, but within that week I fell in love with the country and culture! There is so much there that I can learn from and use for my future! I know there are opprotunities for me through this experience and I can not wait to go!
