A Chinese proverb says, "The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now." It points out that our experiences in life should by no means be prevented. I have never been outside of the US, and I long for a deeper experience in life. 

I am seeking a heap of things from life. Each and every day, I pursue a bright future. I work for my grades, my reputation, and above all, my experiences. Broadening my perception of this world would be a gift beyond any other. That's where you come in. Donating to my cause will help me visit China. 

I'm planning on taking EF's "Experience China" tour with a few of my classmates (visit their website for more info). This is an opportunity like no other in which I will be completely immersed in Chinese culture. This is a gauranteed life-changing endevour.
