Hi Everyone,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Jennifer Russell, and I'm reaching out to share a cause that's incredibly close to my heart.

Growing up in the small town of Arunothai in Northern Thailand, I have been living and working in Texas for over 10 years now. I always dreamed of making a difference in the lives of children who lacked opportunities due to financial and family hardships. From December 2019 to February 2020, during a visit to my family in my hometown, I had the opportunity to reconnect with my cousin, who runs an orphanage for children in need. I had the privilege of visiting the orphanage and witnessing the struggles of these children firsthand. At that time, he was taking care of 19 children. This experience deeply moved me, reinforcing my commitment to helping these children and providing them with a brighter future. I'm organizing a fundraiser to support the orphanage and the children's education and well-being.

The orphanage, located in an underdeveloped area near the Thai border, is in dire need of essential facilities like a school building, kitchen, food court, and educational resources. With your support, we aim to raise $5000 for this project. $4000 will go towards constructing the kitchen facility and will also cover essential school supplies, tables, and chairs. Every dollar you contribute will go directly towards creating a nurturing environment where these children can thrive and fulfill their potential, ensuring that every penny raised serves its intended purpose. Any additional support would be greatly appreciated.

Additionally, $1000 will help cover half of my travel expenses. Your generosity will help alleviate the financial burden of my travel expenses incurred while volunteering at the orphanage.

I'm scheduled to travel to Bangkok on May 18, 2024, and plan to visit the orphanage shortly after.
