My Travel Story
My name is Emerson Liu, age 17.
The year of 2020 had not been easy for people, especially in the less competence countries; the destructive blow of COVID-19 had reduce child protection and undercut the welfare necessary for disabled people. A video that went viral on the internet, pocketing millions of views, illustrated an Israel young girl being bombed the day of her birthday. She was the only survivor of the 7-member family. It was heartbroken to watch as her smile gradually fades away with the swirling dust and her eyes clouded with despair and confusion. It was from that day on, I vow to make a difference: a difference that would prevent people like the little girl from losing a bright future and a loving family.
While people say one person can't tilt the scale of someone's else "determined" life, then let me prove you wrong. I will do EVERYTHING in my ability to help people in need, it's my passion and my dream, it's what makes me most excited about
