My Travel Story

Hi! I'm Moriah, a sophomore at NC State University majoring in animal science with a minor in nutrition. After completing my undergraduate degree, I aspire to attend veterinary school and become a Doctor of veterinary Medicine. Within the field of veterinary medicine, I have a great interest in physiotherapy. My university offers students the opportunity to gain more experience in this field through a study abroad trip to the United Kingdom focusing on animal behavior and veterinary physiotherapy. Being able to attend this study abroad program will afford me the opportunity to study the field in which I'm most interested. As veterinary physiotherapy is not widely practiced in the USA, this study abroad program will help me build a strong knowledge base of the field. Additionally, the program will allow me to experience another culture firsthand, develop leadership skills, and grow socially. I would be so thankful for any support you are able to provide.  This program is once in a lifetime opportunity that I am looking forward to experiencing!
