My Travel Story

I realize that asking total strangers to fund our trip is straight out begging for money.  The reason I am asking is that as you get older you have less and less pride and know that you need help.  I can't do most of the things I was able to and that's just a factor of age and health.  One of these things is financial security.  We are not in danger of starving, or becoming homeless.  We rent an ok place and have a pleasant if boring life, binging tv shows, but there is more to life.  In the past we have driven to Niagara Falls and had a great trip through America, we have driven down the western coast through Oregon, white water rafted on the freezing rivers of BC.  Camping and glamping, trips through Canada.  Now all that is over and we are benched, relegated to watching.  I know that someone will read this and think..."so why should I help you, you have done all this.  Sit back on the porch now.".  Well that's all true we have done all that, been to all those places and sometimes sitting on the porch is nice.  But...

all I ask is this.
If you have taken the time to read this and have the disposable income available and helping us out would not impact you financially then why not?  You would be helping out an old couple have a couple of weeks on a ship in Hawaii.  This is our last trip and after that then it's on the porch.
