My Travel Story

Hello, my name is Precious and I am raising funds to take my family to first Florida to catch our flight and then we will fly from there to Belize. I am 35 years old and this will be our first ever time traveling. I have not been outside of New York since I was 12 years old when I went to Niagara Falls with my grandmother. The reason for our trips is because my husbands step father who lives in Belize and here in New York was diagnosed with prostate cancer in January of this year. He knew he was sick but due is very old school and did not believe in going to the doctors for help he tried natural remedies. When that did not work he finally decided to go to the doctor here in New York and was told that it has spread significantly and was given anywhere between 3-6 months. So he has requested that all of us get our passports because he wants to be buried back home in Belize. I'm a stay at home mom and my husband works for the United States post office. My husband already has his passport and we have the money to get to Florida but we really can't afford to pay for my and our sons passport AND the trip to Belize. My husband doesn't like to ask for money. He feels less of a man so I am doing it lol. I have been exploring all crowdfunding and fundraising options to make this happen because even though he can go alone I think it would really be supportive if me and the baby could be there with him.
