My Travel Story

Hi everyone, my name is Miracle! Thank you so much for taking the time to read my campaign. I am a 25-year-old, muti-ethnic, first-generation woman attending school in California. I am graduating this semester, and I've been accepted into this study abroad program for two weeks in Italy over the summer, where we will study the effects of culture on personality. I've never had the opportunity to travel before, and it would mean the world to me to be able to go. I am a fully dependent student working part-time on the weekends as a bartender, so money is a challenge. Because of that, I am trying every possible option to fund my trip! This study abroad program will be highly enriching and beneficial for my future in psychology. I am passionate about having the opportunity to experience a new culture and environment and to meet new people completely different from anything I've ever known.
Additionally, I am passionate about the arts and an actress. This trip will also help me broaden my perspectives for my creative endeavors. This trip means the world to me because my mommy recently passed away, and life has been extremely difficult without her. I want to make her proud, and I want to take her with me to all the places she's never been as I continue to grow & explore a world that she no longer physically inhabits.
