My Travel Story

Hi friends, 

After completing our studies Ashlyn and I have always wanted to go on a volunteer dental mission to help people in extreme poverty and was given the opportunity to achieve this goal. 

In July 2024 we will be travelling to Guatemala, providing free dental care to people in need. The care we will be giving is not just cleaning teeth - we will be providing emergency treatment for adults and children who are in pain. This includes administering local anaesthetic, extractions and fillings. We will also be taking over dental resources they may be lacking including toothbrushes/toothpaste.

We will be funding our own flights/food and have a home stay in Guatemala. As you may know dental equipment is expensive. We have set a goal of $1500 to fund towards dental resources. Any donations are much appreciated :)
