My Travel Story

It's a long story I'll try to make it short. In 2016 my now estranged husband got a job in Alabama so we moved here and that took me away from my kids and grandkids. In June 2022 my husband left without any warning and went to Ohio. To this day I have not gotten any explanation. I hadn't worked for the entire 18 years we were together due to disabilities and raising my family. I was forced to work to care for myself but my skills were out of date so I started doing gig work. I'm doing ok but I'm just getting by with little to spare. Then in March 2024 my eldest daughter was killed by her boyfriend. With the unexpected expense of travel and funeral my savings was depleted and I've been playing catch up since. My other 2 children and 4 grandkids want me to move back to Texas. We need each other after such a tragic loss that we all feel deeply. I need help to get moved back there to be with my family. I'm alone here in Alabama after being abandoned by my husband. I don't have any family or friends here. I have health issues that are causing me problems and would feel much better having my kids near by in case something happens to me. Here if something happened to me, there is no one to even check on me. So I'd be a goner.
