My Travel Story
Good [morning/afternoon/evening] everyone,
First, let me express my gratitude for giving me the chance to share my story with you. I come before you today as a parent with a heartfelt dream not just for myself, but for my family.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve admired the beauty of travel. I’ve seen images on television of families boarding trains, soaring through the skies in airplanes, and exploring new places together. Those moments always seemed magical, but also distant, like a dream I could only watch from afar.
As a parent, my greatest wish is to create memories that my children will treasure for a lifetime. My children often talk about traveling—about riding on a train, experiencing the wonder of an airplane for the first time, and discovering the world beyond our familiar surroundings. Their dreams fuel my own, but I must admit that the cost of travel has always been out of reach for us.
Today, I am humbly asking for your help to make this dream a reality. I don’t want to just imagine what it feels like to explore new horizons; I want to share those experiences with my family. I want my children to know the excitement of seeing the world, to learn from different cultures, and to create stories they’ll pass on to their own children one day.

I want to take a moment to share something close to my heart. Volunteering has always been a way for me to give back to my community, and one of the ways I do this is by cooking meals at home and distributing them to homeless individuals who I find sleeping by the roadsides.
The idea came to me when I realized how often we take the comfort of a home-cooked meal for granted, while so many go to bed hungry and alone. Preparing food is more than just a task for me; it’s an act of love and compassion. Every ingredient I use carries the hope of making someone's day a little brighter.
When I walk the streets with the meals I’ve made, I don’t just hand out food; I connect with people. A warm smile, a short conversation, and a heartfelt “thank you” remind me that kindness is a language we all understand.
This small gesture not only nourishes others but also nourishes my soul. It reinforces the belief that each of us has the power to make a difference, no matter how small the effort may seem.
