When I was 19, I was lucky enough to get my dog that I have now. I went through some pretty hard times the year I turned 18 and getting my dog was the best thing to come after that. I am 32 now and he is 13. My name is Chelsea and his name is Roman. 

To most, dogs are just pets. To me, Roman saved me. He gave me something to love and someone who loved me back without judgement. I really needed it then. We've grown up together and there's no denying we're both aging. Him faster than me, which breaks my heart, but I know it's part of life. I truly do not know what I will do without him.

So, this journey is to show Roman everything before he can no longer walk or see. To make memories. He has given so much to me that I just truly want to take him on an adventure of a lifetime filled with big sticks, big fields to run or lay in, and new "cookies" along the way. I'm hoping to raise some funds to buy an RV (doesn't have to be fancy) to move into and travel for a few months. 

I'm wanting to move back to the east to be closer to my mom and family. I live in Nevada now and moving into the RV would allow us to go from one side to the other leasurely while moving us to the east coast and making it one big road trip. I also am in school and trying to continue while on the road. If you've made it this far, thanks for reading. Roman deserves the world.
