My Travel Story

I will be taking the 3 week long course Lifetime Nutrition, Wellness, and Physical Activity at Florence Universty of the Arts this summer. I am very interested in learning about healhy lifestyles for myself, and I want to apply the what I learn from this course to my career as a Physical Therapist. I am excited to learn about the Mediterranean diet and lifestyle through the lens of a different culture. Taking a course in a differnent country will broaden my perspective on how I view health, and will give me a better understanding of how to help heal others holistically, with the highest quality care. This will be my first time traveling outside of the United States, so I am also very excited to experience new ways of life. I plan to go with one friend, and we will hopefully travel to Rome and/or Clinque Terre. I am very grateful for this opportunity and am looking forward to every part of it!
