Although this is a personal trip, it is also bound to be a very emotional and healing trip as well. Learning from the people and plants of the land and fully submerging myself in the nature of it all.
I started exploring other beliefs and religions at 15 years old and it has been a love of mine ever since. To be able to fully immerge myself in a shamanistic retreat and experience different practices of healing and expansion has always been a desire of mine. So different from my day to day life, yet somehow seems comforting yet terrifying at the same time. 
The opportunity now presents itself to participate and experience the healing power of sacred plant medicines and listen to the magical songs of the Shipibo Maestros in Iquitos, Peru. 
I am eager to learn more about other cultures, as well as learn more about myself and the world around me. The Philosopher in me is curious. The Nature Lover is enthralled. The Rainforest is calling. 

What I will be doing during this 11 day retreat in Iquitos, Peru:
- 5 Ayahuasca Ceremonies
- Spending a few days with a Master Plant Dieta
- Learning Traditional Shipibo Embroidery
- Vapor and Plant Detoxes 
- Meditation and Silent Reflection
- Connecting with the Rainforest
- Lots of Journaling 
- Pushing myself out of my Personal Comfort Zone
- Probably a good amount of crying too haha
