My Travel Story

I have been accepted into the Therapy Abroad Program for the summer of 2020. I have the opportunity to travel to Thailand, working with ASHA accredited Speech-Language Pathologists. When I was provided with the information about this program I knew this was the opportunity in a life time to further my education as a graduate clinician, gain more clinical experience with the hands on activities that will be provided, and continue to build my resume/network in the field. This opportunity will help me learn about providing Augmentative and Assistive Communication (AAC) services to children with very low functioning speech, while also learning about new cultures that are different from my own. This will be my first time studying abroad and this program is an amazing opportunity for me to further my dreams of helping people. However, in order to help the children who need help, I need your help to do so. I appreciate any donations and I am grateful for this opportunity that has been provided to me. Thank you in advance!
