My Travel Story
We are Last Dusk, Costa Rica’s pioneering Goth Rock 3 piece band, and we need your help more than ever to continue our mission. Since our founding in 2010, we’ve been at the forefront of the Goth Rock scene in Costa Rica, breaking down barriers and representing the dark and atmospheric sound that has resonated with fans across the world. In 2015, we made history as the first Goth band from Costa Rica to play abroad, and since then, we’ve self-financed our European tours, playing shows, connecting with fans, and making lifelong friends along the way.
Now, after years of hard work and dedication, we are faced with a new challenge. The economic situation in Costa Rica is making it increasingly difficult to fund our tours, and the cost of traveling to Europe is rising faster than we can keep up. At the same time, we are recording our third album, a project that requires significant financial investment. Between recording expenses and the cost of touring, it has become almost impossible to do both without your help.
Why We Need Your Support
Last Dusk is more than just a band—it’s a community. Our music has allowed us to connect with people from all over the world, and our European tours are a chance to take this connection even further. We’ve already confirmed three dates for March 2026 in the UK, Spain, and Germany, and we are determined to make this tour happen. However, the rising costs of travel, combined with the financial strain of recording an album, have left us in a difficult position.
The underground goth scene, which we proudly belong to, is an artistic community that thrives on passion and dedication, not financial gain. But the reality is that the resources we have to draw upon are limited. As a band from Costa Rica—a third-world country with high travel expenses and a struggling economy—it's becoming harder to fund our journey abroad. The cost of flights, accommodation, and local transportation in Europe has increased dramatically, and without external support, we simply won’t be able to continue this journey.
What Your Support Will Do
Every penny raised will go directly to the costs of our European tour—covering flights, transportation, accommodation, and equipment. These funds will enable us to travel to our confirmed dates in the UK, Spain, and Germany, and we hope to add more shows as we continue to build momentum.
Moreover, the success of this campaign will allow us to finish recording our third album, which we are incredibly passionate about. It’s an album that represents everything we’ve been working towards over the past five years—musically, artistically, and emotionally. We want to share it with the world, but we can’t do it without your support.
