My Travel Story

by: Gloria Stambuli Start Date: Jul 23, 2021 - End Date: Jan 22, 2022
My name is Gloria Stambuli an 18-year-old, Bachelor in Pharmacy (Hons) student at Kamuzu University of Health Sciences in Malawi. It was formerly known as the University of Malawi, College of medicine.

My interest in studying Pharmacy was inspired by my interest in antibiotic-resistant bacteria as well as immunology. This fascination sparked my interest in drug development as well as drug manufacturing. Namintern has provided me with the opportunity to embark on an internship that will enable me to learn from brilliant industry professionals, and benefit from their experience. Additionally, I will also be participating in various volunteer activities with their partner orphanages.

However, since the internship is unpaid, I would have to cover my travel expenses, the cost of accommodation, meals and transportation throughout my internship.

Any donations you make will make an immense difference in helping me achieve my academic/career goals. If you would like to hear more about my story or have a chat, please do not hesitate to email me at stambuligloria02@gmail.com

I'm so excited! This is the first step to me achieving my dream. I have been able to raise my first $100 through doing some freelance work on Upwork and using that money to sell thrift jackets.
