My Travel Story
Last winter, I got accepted into a prestigious university abroad for my master's degree. Everything was going well, and I had been working and saving money for my student expenses. However, life doesn't always go as planned. In the spring, my mother underwent a leg surgery. She has type 2 diabetes, and due to calluses on her feet, her leg started to deteriorate. I gave my savings to my mother to prevent the progression of her illness. Otherwise, she would have needed an amputation. Currently, I am working and saving money for university. However, I am still $3000 short to pay for the tuition fees. I come from a small country where it is difficult to save money even with 2-3 jobs.
