My Travel Story

Hello everyone, my name is Tyra Khensani Wilson I'm 23 years old and I have been given the amazing opportunity to study on a full based scholarship at Mercer University in Georgia, USA which I have been applying for deferral for the passed 3 semesters. I am however in a very tight corner in terms of my finances travelling to America in time for the Fall semester of 2023. I am the first in my family to attend university and apply to this university was a long shot but I took a leap of faith and here I am. I do have goals of returning home and expanding my reach to for a greater good, lifting up young people in my own community to let them know it's possible and to not limit their dreams because of their circumstances. I had a major set back with my education which resulted in me not being able to attend university for about 3 years. I am eager and excited to start this journey and I hope you can help me reach my dreams.
