My Travel Story

I'm currently a high school senior, dated to graduate the first week of June 2023. I'm a second generation American, with my family being immigrants from Mexico. I'm hoping to achieve the goal of being the first to join & complete college. Being 1 of 7 siblings, & well over 10 cousins, the adults in my family were too preoccupied keeping food on the table to immerse us in our culture, including teaching our native language, which ultimately severed the connection of communication from those in the family who's only language is Spanish. My grandfather, who passed in 2020 from Covid, is from Nuevo León, which is why I choose this location. I want to reconnect with my culture, become a first gen graduate, & set an example of what can be achieved with dedication.
