My Travel Story

Skip the December birthday/christmas gifts. Lori will be venturing off to be a Volunteer Language and Cultural Assistant in Castilla Y León, Spain from mid-January to March. I will be placed with a host family who are typically teachers, school administrators and/or their child attends the school where I will be volunteering. As a native English speaker, I will be assisting classes or small groups of students in order to develop their listening and conversational skills, as well as presenting on my own cultural traditions. 

Traveling has always been a passion of mine which is why I decided to take this leap of faith prior to beginning law school in the fall. Volunteering in Spain will not only be me helping teach others English but rather, students helping me learn Spanish as well. 

I am asking for donations from loved ones to help cover the program costs and travel expenses.
