My Travel Story

Hey, everyone!  

Stephany and I are planning to enroll the CLI’s Immersion Program in January of 2022. We are both currently in our undergrad. I am expected to graduate in May 2021 with my Bachelor’s in Public Health. While Stephany is expected to graduate in December 2021 with a Bachelor’s in International Business as well as a Bachelor’s in Transportation and Logistics. We both are currently studying Chinese and hope to be able to expand our knowledge of the Chinese language and culture through the CLI’s Immersion Program. Through this experience, we want to be able to communicate fluently in Mandarin and understand the history and culture of China. We are hoping to grow as people through this experience and be able to implement what we learn in our fields of study. We are planning this trip in January 2022 so that we have time to improve our Mandarin and raise the necessary funding so that we can spend 3 months in Guilin, Guangxi China immersed in the language and culture. Any donations would be greatly appreciated as we are both dedicated to making this a reality for us in 2022.
