My Travel Story

Hello everyone, my name is Isaiah Gonzalez and I am currently fundraising to have the opportunity to volunteer for 4 weeks in Madagascar with a marine scuba conservation program that goes by the name IVHQ. Since I am currently a college student at the University of Oregon, I don’t have the expendable resources to be able to afford this program on my own. Acts of service and volunteer work has held a strong place in my life since I was a child. As I am currently gaining my open water and advanced scuba certification that are required to participate in this 4 week venture, I would hate for money to be the reason that I can’t go. I will be spending my entire December / Winter Break in Madagascar including the holidays and for my birthday alone just to give you an idea of how valuable I know this experience will be and the impact that it could have on the environment. Any donation would be greatly appreciated by not just me but all of the sea turtles and wildlife in Madagascar! I added an update of a picture of the registration fee and averaged in the cost for flights included in the goal.
