I am a female physics student studying abroad in Australia
My Travel Story
Physics is a collaborative subject and a global endeavour with scientists all around the world work together in various destinations to achieve greater, more accurate and ground breaking results. I Am so excited to be given the opportunity to study abroad and be part of this world-wide collaboration!
UNSW in Sydney houses some of the leading STEM facilities in the world and to be given this opportunity to access them is incredible! I am currently in my second year studying at the University of Exeter in the UK.
As a Maltese girl, I have been in love with the sea since I was young, aspiring to be a surfer and at one with the animals. I am massively looking forward to volunteering at turtle sanctuaries and early mornings on the beaches. I am also a huge gym girl and cannot wait to be surrounded by 'Aussie fitness envirnoment'.
Moving to the other side of the world is a terrifying thought, but also filled with potential and excitement. What else can help you grow more than throwing yourself in at the deep end?
