My Travel Story

Hi Everyone! As many of you may know I will be spending my winter break in Kingston, Jamaica this year. I am beyond ecstatic to have this life changing opportunity but I can't do it all alone.
Being in the field of Recreation and Tourism Management, travel and tourism is something that I have extreme interest in. Putting myself through college I never thought I would have the opportunity to travel abroad and I am so excited that I am finally getting the chance to use my passport! I have this bubbling need to travel bursting inside of me and I think Jamaica is a great place to start my journies!
I will have the opportunity to learn about Women in Jamaica and the role that they play and have played throughout their history. On top of that I am thrilled to be able to volunteer with numerous children and hope to make a lasting difference on their lives.
During my travels I would like to give back to my host country. My plan is to bring as much school supplies as I can to help enhance the children's learning potential in underpriveledged schools located in Kingston. I would also love to bring a piece of my home to share with those that I meet along the way.
If you would like to help me make this happen I would be forever grateful for your help. Any donation is highly appreciated! Donations will go towards helping me fund my trip and purchase donations to bring with me for the schools in Jamaica.
