I want to participate in a 2 week program my school is offering that explores Urban Sustainability in Hong Kong, additionally I would like to, from Hong Kong, fly to Beijing to spend the rest of the summer in Mandarin Chinese classes to bring up my fluency level to prepare to enter the job market. 
The program through my university in Hong Kong is estimated at $3,630 and the Beijing language school varies on how many weeks you stay, its around $1,500 for 8 weeks, then additionally about the same for room and board. Then there is the purchasing of plane tickets, I could feasibly find a flight for under $1000 round trip.
If i was able to do either portion or both I would be thrilled! China is my area of focus and it would be great to get some real world applicable experience there!
