My Travel Story

Hiya! I am Serena, a high school student from Northern Ireland. It has always been a dream of mine to experience school life in Japan, and I believe with the help of this website, and you amazing people, I could achieve this dream.

You see, I have been teaching myself Japnese for almost 2 years now, and this journey will help me not only practice the language, but learn it quicker, and experience Japanese culture.

It will be a month long homestay in/around Tokyo, I will attend a Japanese school 5 days a week, and spend time with my host family on the weekends. The trip will take place in Summer 2016.

This is a trip that my mum has never been able to afford to send me on, as I come from a family of 15 (including myself) and money is really tight at times.
If I receive any donations, I promise to work my hardest before, during and after this trip. And I will send a post card to anyone who donates over £20 (along with other goodies for any amount higher!)
