My Travel Story

After a lot of thinking I've decided to move to U.S. this summer to live and work there for 4 months as a student via Work and Travel program. Work and Travel USA program gives you a chance to be much more than a tourist! Experience life in the U.S. by working side-by-side with locals. It’s a real American experience that also helps cover travel expenses, but once you start working. It's been a dream since I was a little kid and now I hope my dream can come true! With your help!

Little about me:

I am 23 and I live in a small town Srbac near Banjaluka, capital of Republic of Srpska. At the moment I am first year student of Computer science at PIM college, Banjaluka and I am not employed. The reason I started my studies late is that my family could not afford enough money. Now I am trying to do more after many failures trying to get a job by going to the U.S.

I am currently working on my trip to U.S. after receiving two job offers from Captain George's - Myrtle Beach, SC and Microtel Inn & Suites – York, Maine via Cultural Homestay International. . I got lucky to get two job offers over the summer in U.S and I would take them gladly. Now, with this opportunity to work and live abroad for 4 months in the states, I am looking for a help! Program itself is very expensive and I managed to pay full price (around $1500). What is left to pay is my flight ticket from Belgrade, Serbia to New York, and a bus ticket from Banjaluka, Republic of Srpska to Belgrade.

I would not be asking for any help if I was able to pay myself. Unfortunately, I was born and raised in Bosna which is a poor country with low wages, no work places, etc, and this is my opportunity to see the light for at least 4 months.

I really hope that at least some of you will help me get there, work and see the world!
