My Travel Story

Thank you for reading my post-I'm headed to NYC to surprise my brother in his performance in Sweeney Todd the Demon Barber of Fleet Street! This is the closing show. It is his first role on Broadway and his dream come true! In his 10 year career as a musical theater actor, someone from our family has always been present for his opening show and his closing show. No one else from our family can afford to make it for his final performance, so I decided I would surprise him by being the one who came! I was able to secure a ticket to the show without him knowing and am working on the flights but I live in Ohio so it's definitely not cheap. I also don't have the money for a hotel and don't have anyone to stay with when I'm there because my brother doesn't have room for me (also would ruin the surprise if I show up there). I'm such a proud big sister that I took off work just to make sure I am there to support him in the final show of his debut. We don't get to see each other very often with his grueling show schedule and us living in distant states. I know that our parents would've loved to be there but our father is having some health issues and our mother is taking care of him while transporting him to various appointments and tests. Anyone who is drawn to contribute, thank you, I appreciate you so much! Family is everything to me so it would mean so much to me to make this happen! The show must go on!
