My Travel Story

Heyo! Raise your hand if you have a penchant for travel and enjoy taking photos in interesting places wearing a ghost costume? If you have your hands in the air like you just don't care you've come to the right place. This year I'm turning the dreaded 40; yes shocking and I feel the one foot deep in the grave. My ghoul this year is to spend 40 days in different places and increase my photo categlog of Boo-doir images. I started taking these photos back in 2021, when I was in a profession that was challenging both mentally and emotionally (my office was getting shot at regularly, I was getting no sleep due to anxiety and stress, plus 24 on call status). Finding little pockets of joy in a draining daily grind was essential... so naturally ghost photo shoots. Eventually and despite being paid well with 12 years of service in my field, I made the tough decision to leave my employer, take a pay cut, and start fresh in a new career path. Luckily I've been able to save up lots of vacation time in the last 2 years and have a boss and job that understands breaks are paramount to healthy minds and spirits. This year I'll be traveling to Scotland in April, and with your help I hope to get to Portland Oregon in the summer for my 40th birthday, and then round out the year in the Blackforest region of Germany.
