My Travel Story

For years I have wanted the chance to study in South America because of its rich diversity in landscapes and culture. Through this study abroad program,  I'll get hands on experience with meeting local leaders, conservation efforts, and sustainable development projects. With these projects I'll hopefully contribute to the betterment of indigenous and local peoples in Cuenca,  Ecuador. I see myself working in the future as a regional planner,  and I believe this trip will help give me the tools I need to succeed in that field. On a more personal note, I'll get the once in a lifetime opportunity to see the Amazon Rainforest!
